About Me
I'm a dedicated Naturopathic Doctor and Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with a passion for empowering individuals on their unique health journeys. My own experience with the medical system and health struggles have profoundly shaped my understanding of the healing power of naturopathic medicine. These personal challenges have not only deepened my empathy but also fueled my commitment to helping others find balance and vitality in their lives.
I believe in a client-centred approach, where each patient is a partner in their health journey. Together, we create individualized and evidence-based plans that honour your experiences and support your healing. My clinical philosophy is rooted in collaboration, ensuring that treatment plans and health goals are established as a team. Whether through IV therapy, vitamin injections, nutraceutical supplementation, psychotherapy, lifestyle and dietary modifications, or botanical medicine, my aim is to help you feel like your true and best self.
My clinical focus includes mental health, digestive health, skin health, hormone health, and the optimization of overall wellness. I promise to acknowledge your experiences and support your healing every step of the way. With additional training in the naturopathic assessment and treatment of mental health concerns, I have also contributed to the field by formulating nutraceuticals for a leading Canadian health supplement company.
I hold an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from the University of Toronto. My desire to help others led me to pursue a four-year graduate degree in Naturopathic Medicine from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. My dedication to providing truly integrative care encouraged me to pursue a Master of Counselling Psychology degree from Yorkville University. I am proud to be registered and in good standing with the College of Naturopaths of Ontario and the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario.
Naturopathic Medicine
Naturopathic medicine is a distinct primary healthcare system that combines modern scientific knowledge with traditional and natural forms of medicine. It is rooted in the philosophy of treating the whole person, rather than just the symptoms, and emphasizes the body's inherent ability to heal itself. Naturopathic doctors (NDs) are trained to identify and address the underlying causes of illness, focusing on prevention and the promotion of optimal health and wellness.
At the core of naturopathic medicine are several key principles:
1. First, Do No Harm: NDs utilize the most natural and least invasive therapies to treat patients.
2. The Healing Power of Nature: NDs recognize and harness the body's intrinsic ability to heal and maintain itself.
3. Identify and Treat the Causes: Rather than merely suppressing symptoms, NDs seek to identify and remove the root causes of illness.
4. Doctor as Teacher: NDs educate and empower patients to take responsibility for their own health.
5. Treat the Whole Person: NDs consider a variety of factors, including physical, mental, emotional, genetic, environmental, and social influences, when developing a treatment plan.
6. Prevention: NDs emphasize the importance of preventing disease and maintaining health through lifestyle and dietary modifications.
Naturopathic doctors are trained in a wide array of therapies, including clinical nutrition, botanical medicine, homeopathy, physical medicine, lifestyle counselling, and more. They work collaboratively with patients to create personalized treatment plans that align with each individual's unique health needs and goals. Whether you're seeking to manage a chronic condition, improve your overall well-being, or simply explore natural health options, naturopathic medicine offers a comprehensive and patient-centred approach to healthcare.

Counselling & Psychotherapy
Psychotherapy is a collaborative and evidence-based approach to improving mental and emotional well-being. It provides a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, behaviours, and life experiences while developing the tools needed to navigate life’s challenges with greater confidence and resilience.
Life can feel overwhelming at times. Whether you’re experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, burnout, relationship difficulties, grief, low self-esteem, chronic illness, ADHD, boundary challenges, fears or phobias, loneliness, or simply feeling stuck, psychotherapy can help you better understand yourself, identify unhelpful patterns, and create meaningful, lasting change.
My approach is integrative and client-centred, recognizing that no two individuals are the same. Every treatment plan is thoughtfully tailored to your unique experiences, personality, values, and goals. Together, we work to better understand the underlying patterns that influence your thoughts, emotions, and behaviours while fostering greater self-awareness, self-compassion, and emotional resilience.
Depending on your needs, I draw from a variety of evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including:
-
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
-
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
-
Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT)
-
Person-Centred Therapy
-
Attachment-Based Therapy
-
Solution-Focused Therapy
-
Compassion-Focused Therapy
-
Relational Therapy
-
Mindfulness-Based approaches
-
Internal Family Systems
-
Brief Psychodynamic Therapy
-
Strength Based approaches
Rather than offering a one-size-fits-all approach, I integrate these modalities to create therapy that feels personalized, practical, and meaningful for you. My goal is to build a therapeutic relationship grounded in trust, empathy, and collaboration, where you feel heard, understood, and supported without judgment. Together, we will work toward developing healthier coping strategies, strengthening your relationships, improving emotional well-being, and helping you live a life that feels more authentic and aligned with the person you want to become. Whether you’re navigating a difficult chapter or seeking greater personal growth, psychotherapy offers an opportunity to better understand yourself, heal from past experiences, and build the confidence to move forward with clarity and purpose.
